However, there is a notable lack of information on this topic, particularly when it comes to the microlocal approach. In response to this challenge, the primary objective of this research is to conduct a geomorphological risk mapping at a microlocal scale, in a dune located in the Cidade Nova neighborhood of Natal, RN, an area considered geomorphologically fragile. This approach allows for the sectorization of risk zones according to the characteristics of each defined sector. To achieve this, surveys and analyses were carried out on the socioeconomic situation of the population, as well as physical aspects of the area (elevation, slope, geomorphology, geology, etc.) and the identification of risk indicators in the study area (cracks, tilted poles and trees, containment systems, erosive features, etc.) through the use of Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS). The collection of such data is crucial, as risks are dynamically produced by social phenomena, and should therefore be analyzed taking into account the fragility of the terrain and the vulnerabilities inherent in the formation and evolution of risk situations.
