There are few studies addressing the health and safety managers of organizations, but there seemed a consensus that this professional category, who usually assigns the role by constant organizational changes and the pressures and burdens arising from work, they too suffer. This paper presents an approach to ergonomics as part of analysis of the activity of managers, especially in hotels, and their impacts on occupational health and safety. In large hotels are the managers responsible for making decisions in favor of greater efficiency. Often their decisions are in conflict with the decisions of the global organization, bringing implications and contradictions in the actions of its jurisdiction, been reflected in their health, causing disease and suffering. They also seek to mobilize people working in the organization to keep them permanently productive, efficient and effective, but this mobilization is not always adequate, and therefore causes impacts on production efficiency and the health of both workers and managers themselvesAttribution-NonCommercial 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/3.0/br/ErgonomiaSaúdeMacroergonomiaGerentesHotelariaGestão da ergonomia para a saúde ocupacional dos gerentes hoteleirosManagement of ergonomics for the occupational health of hotel managersarticle
