Because this is an activity that presents safety and ergonomic risks, this study aimed to diagnose this process, based on the Work Ergonomic Analysis - AET, in order to formulate recommendations that aim to solve or mitigate the problems identified. This is a qualitative case study. The purpose of the research, in methodological terms, was exploratory-descriptive. For this purpose, bibliographical research, documentary analysis, semi-structured interviews applied to 21 of the 32 guards, and participant observation, all anchored in the AET methodology, were used as sources of data collection. We also collected data on the population investigated and data related to the work performed by these servers. For data analysis, the Microsoft Office Excel spreadsheet editor software was used. This research ratified the validation of concepts presented by several authors that helped in understanding the theme and in the elaboration of the diagnosis.
