The study was carried out based on a bibliographical review of materials that discuss the concepts of youth, secondary education and the pedagogue as a pedagogical coordinator by authors such as Lück (2008) and Libâneo (2017), making it possible to understand the need for the pedagogue in the face of this teaching stage and its responsibilities as part of this process, observing the human being in an integral way and not just as a product of capitalism aiming for profit and the results it can bring.
