New technological supports were created, new media emerged and, consequently, other ways of communicating. This change has influenced many areas of society, including fashion. Even though it is a field marked by ephemerality in its essence, the arrival of cyberspace has made this quality more evident, since it has provided fashion with new possibilities, which triggered an even faster pace of transformation. Even so, the new media made room for a more democratic fashion, with the popularization of information and knowledge of the area, previously restricted to the mainstream media. To better understand this scenario of changes in the way fashion presents itself today, an analysis of the digital platform Steal The Look will be made. The site illustrates this breakthrough in fashion communication as it makes ever-faster-becoming trends more democratic. To reach the expected conclusions, themes such as the history of fashion, the ephemerality it carries, its relationship with communication and the evolution of the media with the advent of digital will be discussed. The concepts of Lipovetsky (1989) and Pollini (2007) were mainly used for studies regarding fashion issues and their meanings, and the platform analysis was done following the case study methodology, with the support of netnography, according to Ponte (2006) and Amaral et al.
