Marielle Franco was one of the black women who fought against these abuses and has always been a tireless defender of human rights, especially of women and black people, but her political activity was interrupted in March 2018 when Brazil received news of the murders of her and her driver, Anderson Gomes. Thus, this research is justified by the importance of highlighting the actions of black parliamentarians, even though they still have low representation in the institutional spaces of Brazilian politics. Thus, the general objective of this research is to analyze the actions of self-declared black parliamentarians elected in 2018 in proposals that address the theme of gender and race in the institutional spaces of Brazilian politics. The specific objectives are: To examine how the presence of black parliamentarians elected in Brazil favors the agendas proposed by the black movement and the women's movement; highlight the main agendas of the proposed bills, hearings and actions and their relationship with the current political moment; enable a reflection on whether simply being a black female parliamentarian necessarily means adopting an action to confront racism and misogyny. The assumptions of materialism and Marxist dialectics were used, as well as the readings of black feminist thinkers. Initially, the number of proposals presented by the parliamentarians in the Legislative Assembly and their thematic blocks were mapped. After that, the proposals that addressed themes related to gender and race were highlighted, in which the fight against domestic violence was highlighted. However, the fight against racism still appears in a small number of proposals. In addition, political gender violence affects the lives of some parliamentarians, which makes it necessary to constantly fight for these women to occupy these spacesAcesso AbertoParlamentares negrasAtuação políticaTotalidade social"Eu não serei interrompida": uma análise da atuação das parlamentares negras no BrasildoctoralThesisCNPQ::CIENCIAS HUMANAS::PSICOLOGIA
