In this context, the nursing consultation meets an ideal scenario to perform these interventions. Aim: To build a nursing consultation model in order to implement it in the cardiology ambulatory of a University Hospital. Methodology: It is a qualitative Convergent Assistant Research. The research took place at the University Hospital Walter Cantídio, Fortaleza-CE. The participants were nurses from the Hospital, all experienced with nursing consultation and cardiology. The data collection happened between August, 2018 and October, 2020. It was performed in two stages: an open interview and a focal group discussion. The research was submitted to institution’s research ethics committee and was approved through statement CAAE: 17781919.4.0000.5045. Results: The research’s results were discussed in seven theme categories, and the final products were the instruments for nursing consultation to the patients when preparing them to ambulatory exams, the use of oral anticoagulant, cardio-surgery, and when preparing them for electrophysiological study from the cardiology ambulatory of the Hospital; besides the forms for orientation that must be rendered to patients in each specific consultation, it was also produced a POP referring to the execution of these consultations. Final Considerations: The collective construction of these nursing consultations brought reflections upon the science and assistant practices, highlighting the existent difficulties and perspectives of improvement. It is expected to qualify the work process of the service, in addition to favoring the integration of nurses in the teaching-learning processes and standardization of conduct. It is emphasized that efforts will be necessary for the implementation of what was built to occur. However, the research contributed to fill the gap in nursing consultation and reinforced the importance of the nurse's performance in the service, once the model created may be inserted in the current system used by the hospital (AGHU) and, in the future, in the electronic medical record of the patient.Acesso AbertoConsulta de EnfermagemCardiologiaAssistência ambulatorialmasterThesis
