In this context, this study started from the following issue: whether visual law achieves the maximization of its purpose with the use of plain language. To this end, the following specific objectives were outlined: i) to understand the importance of the use of visual law in legal communication and in the context of access to information; ii) to understand the concept and importance of the two tools: visual law and plain language; iii) to understand the intersection between the tools as an element of maximizing the purpose of visual law.
