In this scenario, surveys show that the video tool improves the quality and learning experience of the user. Objective: Develop videotapes in infectology, using as basis a problem and using the PBL method to present the subjects to the students in an integrated and practical way. Methods: A clinical case was constructed on infective endocarditis and had elements for the discussion of infectious agent microbiology, immunology and pharmacological treatment. The schemes were all drawn up by the students, based on their individual studies. Results: In order to construct the clinical case and the script, it was necessary an extensive bibliographical search through books and treatises that gave information with high credibility on the subject, the information had to be placed in a logical ordersimilar to the one seen in medical books In order to obtain a greater level of understanding on the part of the viewer.
