Lesões de pele relacionadas à assistência à saúde em pacientes pediátricos no contexto hospitalar: revisão de escopo. Orientador: Bruno Araújo da Silva Dantas. 2024. 36 f. Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Residência Multiprofissional em Atenção a Saúde da Criança) - Centro de Ciências da Saúde, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2025.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/62400Skin lesions in pediatric patients arise due to the clinical profile of hemodynamic instability, respiratory difficulties, poor perfusion, and other characteristics. These pressure injuries have diverse etiologies, including positioning, injuries caused by medical devices, and adhesives. Objective: to map the evidence on the incidence of different types of skin lesions in neonatal and pediatric patients, with their respective preventive and treatment recommendations. Methodology: it is outlined as a scoping review, carried out according to the 2021 Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) review manual. Results: 24 articles were selected to compose the final result of the review, in which it was possible to verify through the mapping of scientific platforms that the most prevalent injuries among children aged zero to 24 months hospitalized and undergoing intensive care are pressure injuries, injuries caused by medical devices, and adhesives. Therapeutic and preventive conducts are addressed, such as the use of platelet gel base, hydrogel and petroleum jelly, support surfaces, the use of the Braden Q/QD scale, training and continuing education. Conclusion: Injuries related to health care are an important indicator of quality of care. From this perspective, the conducts addressed in this review contribute as preventive and effective tools to avoid or reduce these injuries. In addition, ongoing education actions should be carried out in health institutions to reinforce the importance of preventing and treating injuries related to care and reporting casesCC0 1.0 Universalhttp://creativecommons.org/publicdomain/zero/1.0/PediatriaLactenteLesão por pressãoLesões de pele relacionadas à assistência à saúde em pacientes pediátricos no contexto hospitalar: revisão de escopoSkin injuries related to healthcare in pediatric patients in the hospital setting: scope reviewbachelorThesisCNPQ::CIENCIAS DA SAUDE
