Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação em Farmácia), Departamento de Farmacia, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2022.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/50226The structuring of Pharmaceutical Assistance (PA) in the Unified Health System - SUS is a great challenge to be constantly faced by managers and professionals who work in it, as it involves not only the management of the contribution of financial resources, but also the need for improvement continuous use of new strategies in its planning, direction and control, aiming to guarantee the efficiency of these actions, to strengthen the bonds between the services and the population and to promote, in addition to access, the rational use of medicines and the effective insertion of pharmaceutical assistance as an action of health. The purpose of PA Management is to improve the population's access to essential medicines, reduce discontinuity/supply in the supply of these therapeutic agents, in order to expand coverage, minimizing drug costs without compromising their safety, efficacy and quality. The present study aimed to analyze articles on the Management of Pharmaceutical Assistance in the SUS, through the CAPES Platform, published from 2012 to 2022. 49 articles published in 8 journals were found and only 20 of these publications dealt with management in Pharmaceutical Assistance and none of the articles presented a new management model despite being one of the policies of assistan cepharmaceutical.
