Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação em Engenharia de Materiais) - Centro de Tecnologia, Departamento de Engenharia de Materiais, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2019.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/40353The advance in the technology of electronic devices stimulates the consumer market to a constant exchange of equipment. The speed in obsolescence and the consequent generation of electro-electronic waste imply serious concerns about the production and consumption, since most of these products do not receive adequate post-consumer treatment and are consequently deposited in landfills. Specific attention is needed to balance production and the environment. An alternative to reduce the impacts generated by the disposal of these materials is reuse of its components. Printed circuit boards (PCBs) are pieces of electrical and electronic devices that are composed of metallic, polymeric and ceramic materials. The metals have used in the printed circuit boards, once separated, can be reused in mortars for civil construction, improving the mechanical resistance. Thus, this work presents results of the composition through the characterization of printed circuit boards ground in a knife-mill, leached with royal water, analyzed by X-ray fluorescence (XRF) and finally the results were compared with others in the literature.
