The methodology used in the research was a qualitative approach and document analysis for the purpose of theoretical foundation regarding the ideas of the theme. Through the research, it was possible to perceive that visual arts, if worked in a planned way in accordance with the curriculum of each school stage, constitute an important means for the development of creativity and learning in children.
