Besides, the insertion of active learning methodologies becomes essential, given the mandatory insertion recommended by the National Curriculum Guidelines for the Undergraduate Engineering programs. This research aims to propose an educational scenario for BIM teaching from the perspective of blended learning. Design Science Research was adopted as a research method, through practical experience in two courses of the Civil Engineering program of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), where BIM teaching was inserted through two modalities of blended learning: station rotation and the flipped classroom. In this sense, three versions of the educational scenario were developed; there was a refinement in each of these versions concerning the previous version.
