This study examines the sociolegal aspects of this form of negligence, which exposes young individuals to risks such as cyberbullying, exposure to inappropriate content, and dangerous interactions on social media. The research analyzes the effectiveness of Brazilian regulations, such as the Child and Adolescent Statute and the General Data Protection Law, in protecting minors' rights in the virtual environment. Using a bibliographic and documentary approach, the study discusses the need for specific regulation and preventive measures involving family, society, and the State.
