Monografia (Especialização) - Programa de Residência Multiprofissional em Atenção Básica, Escola Multicampi de Ciências Médicas, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Caicó, 2018.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/46710Physical Therapy and Physical Education are two of the 14 health professions legally recognized in Brazil. These professionals began to be incorporated into Primary Care (AB) from the creation of the Family Health Support Center (NASF) established with the objective of increasing the resolution and scope of health actions in order to consolidate this level of care. However, there is no robust determination about their unique knowledge and practices in AB. This qualitative and exploratory study aims to discuss the perception of the ESF professionals about the performance of Physical Therapy and Physical Education professionals in AB. The data collection was based on semi-structured interviews. The narratives were worked through Bardin's content analysis. As a result, three categories were discussed from the perspective of professions based on the concepts of "Field and Core". It is concluded that the professionals of the ESF perceive Physical Therapy and Physical Education as very close professions, so that one does not have a clear perception of the contours of their nuclei, the profession is perceived as guiding the specialized practice and in this context the Residency in Basic Attention stresses the restructuring of professional practices.Atenção BásicaFisioterapiaEducação FísicaProfissãoBasic CarePhysiotherapyPhysical EducationProfessionA fisioterapia e a educação física na atenção básica: percepções dos profissionais da estratégia saúde da famíliaPhysical therapy and physical education in basic care: perceptions of professionals in the family health strategybachelorThesis
