In this scenario, two practices emerge dangerously: geopricing and geoblocking. The issue at hand relates to the use of these devices by suppliers as a way to boost their sales, recklessly harming the security and freedom of consumption in the digital prism. The goal is to determine to what extent these practices are considered legal and how they arebeing regulated in the Brazilian legal system. The method used is applied research, based on bibliographies and case study analysis. It is concluded that these practices are becoming increasingly common, contributing negatively to consumer relations. Since the Judiciary itself has already declared through rulings that the convincing use of these mechanisms makes their use illegal, the Consumer Protection Code must be applied.
