This arose considering that commercial activity has been part of human life since production exceeded the necessities for subsistence, allowing the exchange of products and services. In contemporary society, commerce extends beyond the economic aspect and holds a cultural character, offering possibilities for leisure and the appropriation of space in commercial locations. With the COVID-19 pandemic and the imposed social isolation, the importance of contact with nature in built environments has been emphasized for the improvement of individuals' well-being and health. Thus, the motivation for choosing the topic for this work arises primarily from the author's personal interest in the subject, as well as the impacts caused by appropriate or well-thought-out solutions for commercial spaces, given that space planning plays a significant role in the user experience.
