Therefore, this work aimed to create a training workshop for medical professionals on the use of electronic patient records (PEP). Among the 16 teachers who work at the teaching clinic of the Multicampi School of Medical Sciences at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, in Caicó, 10 participated in the training workshop. The workshop took place in three moments: 1st Pre-workshop, using Mentimeter® to evaluate the previous perception of the patient's electronic medical record; 2nd Workshop: hands-on using the SigSaúde system; 3rd Use of the digital educational technical product. The workshop was evaluated using the Health Educational Content Validation Instrument (IVCES) and, according to the teachers, it achieved its objective, being considered an effective and validated pedagogical tool, which provides understanding of the Electronic Patient Record (IVC > 80%).
