The advent of technological tools in the agrarian field has demonstrated great relevance, these tools provide the planning of productions and maximization of profits obtained, and especially they are very effective in the decision aid. The climate, soil, animals and plants are inherent components of the production process. Due to this diversity of dynamic components and considering that the production process is long and mostly uninterruptible, the decision making process in the production systems is difficult. Such decisions are impregnated with risks and uncertainties; a wrong decision can lead to a great loss of productivity. Evolutionary computing has been increasingly strong in this regard, fostering a tripod in decision aid, profit maximization, and process optimization. This work proposes the use of Genetic Algorithms as a tool in the planning of yields of pasteable areas, making possible the decision in relation to the amount of ruminants that can graze in a certain area due to the supply of forage.
