This research is qualitative and descriptive in nature. Data collection was carried out through theoretical references that approach distance learning, where I briefly discuss how this educational modality was developed throughout history. As a general objective, I sought to explain how guitar learning occurs through online classes, and to achieve it, I listed three specific objectives: to present the teaching methodology of teachers in online guitar courses; systematize aspects of organization and planning of courses using media, technological resources and virtual learning environments; report the experience lived as an online guitar student.
