Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Tecnologia em Gestão Hospitalar) - Escola de Saúde, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2025.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/64607This study aims to analyze, through an integrative literature review, the contribution of telehealth to promoting comprehensive care in Brazil’s Primary Health Care (PHC) system within the broader context of digital health transformation. It is a qualitative, exploratory-descriptive bibliographic research that selected 17 articles published between 2020 and 2025, retrieved from the BVS database and the CAPES Journal Portal. Inclusion criteria comprised studies addressing telehealth within PHC, while exclusion criteria filtered out duplicates, publications outside the selected time frame or language, and those unrelated to the theme. Data analysis involved critical reading and synthesis of findings, correlating them with Brazilian Unified Health System (SUS) guidelines and public health policies. The results indicate that telehealth plays a key role in strengthening care coordination and resolvability in PHC, expanding access to specialized services, enhancing continuing education for health teams, and reducing regional inequalities. Tools such as teleconsultation, tele-education, and telediagnosis emerge as effective resources for supporting frontline professionals, especially in remote areas with limited specialist availability. Furthermore, telehealth fosters care continuity, integration between different levels of care, and evidence-based clinical decision-making.It is concluded that telehealth is a strategic pillar for achieving comprehensive care within SUS, provided it is accompanied by infrastructure investment, professional training, and public policies aimed at equity and universal access.pt-BRAttribution 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/br/Telessaúde.
