Primary Health Care is an important space to develop actions to strengthen social control, focused on the real needs of users. Public universities have been a powerful tool in defending the SUS and in resisting attacks on public policies. Among the activities developed by the Multicampi School of Medical Sciences (EMCM) in Rio Grande do Norte State, the support and qualification actions of social control in health in Caicó/RN stand out. The objective of this study is to present an experience report of extension actions in social mobilization and in strengthening popular participation and social control in health in Caicó/RN, with the support and protagonism of the Multiprofessional Residence in Primary Care. There is the organization and participation in the Local Conferences and the 7th Municipal Health Conference of Caicó / RN, participation in the 9th State Health Conference and the 16th National Health Conference in 2019, in addition to active and political participation in the representation of users in these spaces.
