O gênero Panaeolus (Agaricales) no Brasil: descrição morfológica e novo registro de Panaeolus acuminatus. 2019. 28 f. Monografia (Graduação em Ciências Biológicas) – Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2021.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/47309Panaeolus is a genus of dark-spored, pileate-stipitate, gilled mushroom of remarkable cultural importance, and of great diversity, widely distributed and full of taxonomic controversies. In Brazil, few species are registered and most of these records are for the southern region of the country. Intending to broaden the taxonomic and diversity knowledge of the taxon in order to provide support in systematic studies, a rare new record of Panaeolus for the Northeast region was published. Panaeolus acuminatus was last reported in Brazil in 1930 by the “father of Brazilian mycology”, Johannes Rick. Following a comprehensive review of Panaeolus state of knowledge for the Northeast and Brazil, as well as a taxonomic discussion of the species, this second known record of P. acuminatus highlights the importance of using molecular tools through different methods of phylogenetic inference to elucidate relationships within a possible species complex within the genus.Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/br/AgaricomycotinaBasidiomycotaBiodiversidadePanaeoloideaeTaxonomiaBiodiversityTaxonomyO gênero Panaeolus (Agaricales) no Brasil: descrição morfológica e novo registro de Panaeolus acuminatusThe genus Panaeolus (Agaricales) in Brazil: Morphological description and a new record of Panaeolus acuminatusbachelorThesis2.12.01.03-0 Micologia1.06.01.06-6 Evolução, Sistemática e Ecologia Química2.03.04.01-3 Taxonomia de Criptógamos
