It initially explores the concept, technical functioning, and social impacts of this technology, with an emphasis on its illicit applications, such as fake news, electoral manipulation, and non-consensual pornography. Subsequently, it examines the elements of civil liability within the Brazilian legal system, focusing on the violation of personality rights, moral and material damages, and the establishment of causal link. The research also assesses the role of digital platforms in the dissemination of such content, discussing the limits of their liability under the perspective of the Brazilian Internet Civil Framework.
