Method:This is an exploratory and descriptive study type experience report on the infestation of Aedes aegypti indices in Santa Cruz, located in the state of Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil. The results are derived from surveys of Quick Infestation Indices For Aedesaegypti (LIRAa), conducted in the years 2007 to 2013. Results and discussion: Through LIRAa, has been the focus of Mosquito profile, so there is a control Aedes aegypti, the municipality should invest in the regulation of water supply, sanitation, educational prevention and control, replacement deposits, among other actions that promote the reduction of mosquito infestation index and hence experience new epidemics .
