Carried out within the scope of the Multiprofessional Residency program, the project is justified by the lack of scientifically based educational resources to guide health professionals in this context. The methodology, with a qualitative approach, included a narrative review of the literature as the basis for constructing the booklet. Despite temporal limitations in validating the instrument, the study provided valuable insights. The results highlight the need for specific training for health professionals, social name recognition and inclusive policies. The integrative review provided a robust basis for the booklet "John and the Journey for LGBT+ Health", an innovative tool for raising awareness among health professionals. This creative approach seeks to make an emotional and educational impact, promoting a deeper understanding of the experiences of the LGBT+ community. In the context of multidisciplinary residency, the booklet not only meets expectations, but also stands out as a practical tool for implementing inclusive practices. As a suggestion for future studies, it is proposed to explore new educational technologies based on more comprehensive reviews.
