Additionally, it opens up debate on the need for inclusion of the teaching of music as mandatory content in kindergarten, because the music contributes to the evolution of behavioral changes in children. The theme was addressed on the basis of methodological assumptions developed by national and international specialists in the teaching of Music, such as: Brito (2003), Drummond (2009a, 2011), Rodrigues; Arrais; Rodrigues (2013), Bastian (2011) and Schafer (1991), and also on the teaching experience report of the authoress of this work in Music education in Early Childhood Education at the Dom Marcolino Dantas School, from Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, as empirical contribution.
