The theater and cordel literature are artistic themes coming from a specific creative context and also cultural. The objective of the work is to reflect on the experience in the classroom of the 9th years, using the teaching of Theater in an interdisciplinary perspective between the theater and the cordel literature. The methodological proposal lies in the scope of qualitative research, specifically, a case study, from the theater and the cords leaflets, inserting them as means of teaching in school. The instruments used for data collection were the records of this teaching experience (experience report), from an investigative script describing its stages plays and exercises in the perspective of the assembly of a play. As theoretical basis we used texts by Koudela (1998), Abreu (1999), Freire (1989), Ayala (2003), Boal (2001) and Barbosa (2003).
