Thus, in this work the general objective is to elaborate a pedagogical proposal for the teaching of volleyball, emphasizing the playful and expanded look of the teaching of sport in Physical Education. The specific objectives are: a) to relate the games and ball games with hands as repertoire for teaching volleyball; b) to present a taxonomy in relation to the games/ball games with hands with their peculiarities; and c) develop a material that will help in the teaching of volleyball through the teaching of games and games with hands, for students of the final years of elementary school. As a contribution of the theoretical framework, we explain what is performance sport; what is school sport; how the Pedagogy of Sports and Physical Education are important for the sports culture of the students, because Physical Education is the most important discipline in the knowledge of body, mental and psychological student. The research resulted in an observation of 20 games/ games practiced by students, which served as a basis for learning and practicing volleyball, in a playful way and with a massive participation of the students. These games/games were observed, analyzed and thus it was possible to present taxonomies that represent different groupings of tasks, games and games. Each group may be the main content of the classes, as well as it can be combined with other groups, depending on the teaching objectives of each teacher. We conclude that the games/ ball games with hands help and facilitate the learning of the sport Volleyball because it is game/ games that students know since childhood, in addition to promoting greater participation and integration of students in classes, still allow the acquisition of skills capable of integrating and participating in the sport that has become the second most practiced sport in the country.
