In order to achieve this purpose, three areas with different infiltration capacities were studied, which enabled the ascertainment of number of wells and quantity of days in which the leakage occurs, for both calculation methods. The Rational Method results in fewer wells and, consequently, a higher frequency of water overflow on soils with high or medium infiltration rate. On the soil with low infiltration capacity the number of wells necessary grows significantly, resulting on a lower leakage frequency. The method from the Drainage Manual issued by the city of Natal presented more stability, having lower variation on the quantity of wells on both studied soils, with a water overflow frequency inferior to 1%.openAccesspoços de infiltraçãométodos de cálculoextravasamentoAvaliação da eficiência dos poços de infiltração no controle da drenagem no loteEvaluation on the efficiency of infiltration wells on the control of on-lot drainagebachelorThesis
