Through a quantitative field research employing questionnaires with teachers, aspects such as age range, professional experience, and academic background of the educators were explored. The study also delved into their perceptions and perspectives regarding ENEF, its application and relevance. Furthermore, it sought to identify the main challenges faced by teachers in implementing ENEF in their pedagogical practices, examining the level of interest and motivation of teachers on the subject, as well as their perception of the importance of financial education for the development of socioemotional skills and the civic education of students. In conclusion, the obtained results are analyzed in a descriptive and interpretative manner. Considering 87 questionnaires, the findings highlight that teachers have little or no familiarity with the materials provided by ENEF, a shortage of specific training, and a lack of systematic practices related to financial education in public schools in Vera Cruz/RN.
