D. Broad. 2025. 54 f. Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Bacharelado em Filosofia) - Departamento de Filosofia, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2025.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/64016This monographic work aims to analyze John McTaggart's argument on the unreality of time in the light of C. D. Broad's critique. This critical analysis runs through some ideas of time that predate and postdate the work of the English idealist, such as the apparent time that supports the notions of past, present, and future; as well as presentism and eternalism, which contradict ideas such as motion, moment, and event, validating McTarggat's thesis to a certain extent. This investigation is important because, as of Broad's critique of McTaggart's thesis, it is possible to address several issues related to time, such as movement, change, event, moment, the notion of becoming, and also more general aspects of time such as transience and permanence, which validate C. D. Broad's critique. This monograph aims, therefore, to understand and clarify in a critical-analytical way the argument of the unreality of time and how C. D. Broad's critique is made from the idea of becoming.pt-BRAttribution 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/br/irrealidade do tempotempodevirmovimentomudançamomentoevento.unreality of timetimebecomingmotionchangemomentevent.A irrealidade do tempo e o devir: o argumento de John McTaggart à luz da crítica de C.
