Mapeamento do potencial de incrustação avaliando os resultados das análises da água produzida. Orientador: Djalma Ribeiro da Silva. 2015. 81f. Tese (Doutorado em Ciência e Engenharia de Petróleo) - Centro de Ciências Exatas e da Terra, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2015.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/49903One of the biggest problems that the petroleum industry faces are the processes of corrosion and incrustation and it is a growing challenge for the researchers in the area. Incrustation represents growing costs due to the reduced productivity and the time lapsed for interventions and in most cases corrosion is due to this incrustation. The most common types of incrustation in petroleum field are caused by precipitation of calcium carbonates and calcium sulfates, strontium and barium. These precipitations may occur in the reservoir pores, in the production column and in the equipment, leading to obstructions and consequently a downfall in production. The incrustation forecast will only represent reality when all of the phenomena are described faithfully. For this research, in one specific database, information relating to the characterization of the produced water from the oil wells was united, to analyze the information regarding the incrustation and corrosion potential, through the calculation of Saturation Index (S.I.) and Solubility of the product (Kps), as well as the location for monitoring purposes and the choice of adequate treatment. This characterization, was done predominately through the results achieved through the techniques of ICP-OES (inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry), for the determination of cations, IC (Ion Chromatography), for the determination of anions, potentiometric titration, for the determination of carbonate, bi-carbonate alkalinity and pH results. Some results of the characterization of the residues through the technique of DRX (X-Ray difratometry) and EFRX (X-Ray spectometry), were cross-referenced for the confirmation of the gathered results through the calculation of the Saturation Index. The gathered results that were cross-referenced through the composition and properties of produced water are able to predict the corrosive potential or the incrusting potential of the studied wells.
