Based on these aspects, the overall objective of this study is to conduct an analysis of the Esmeraldo Siqueira Municipal Library, investigating its contributions to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) established by the 2030 agenda, specifically in relation to access to information, support for research and education, information and communication technologies (ICTs), and preservation of cultural heritage. In this sense, the aim is to demonstrate the interrelationship between public libraries and the 2030 agenda, as well as to investigate which initiatives promoted by the Esmeraldo Siqueira Municipal Library align with the objectives of the thematic scope of this study. The case study method was used, through bibliographical research and application of an open questionnaire, characterized as qualitative research. At the end of this study, it is concluded that the library partially fulfilled the three thematic scopes of access to information, support for research and education, ICTs, and preservation of cultural heritage.
