Founded in 1977, this company, which is located in the city of Sumaré, in São Paulo, had it administrative and operational control taken over, at the beginning of 2002, by its workers and, from 2003 onwards, it became an effective organization of the Occupied Factories Movement. The research seeks to reflect this experience through analysis, differentiating capitalist management from self-management, the latter being configured as collective management at Flaskô. The research was qualitative in nature and based on documents, the approach was built based on books, theses, dissertations, articles and digital media, such as videos. In this way, the work carried out based on textual and audiovisual analysis made it possible to reflect on the viability of self-management applied by enterprises inserted in the capitalist mode of production. Among the biggest challenges faced by Flaskô are: sustaining its administration as a participatory management, carried out by its employees; maintain your productive activity profitable to the point of paying salaries; purchase of raw materials and maintenance of machinery, in addition to community projects in the working-class village under the mechanisms of the capitalist market.
