Method: experience report based on the observation of the construction of a Guide on isolation in cohort in hospitals, developed during the months of July and August 2020 by the teams of the Health Surveillance, Patient Safety and Quality Management Units in hospitals during the pandemic. Results: the Guide elaboration process was described, presented according to innovation spaces and the 14 sections related to the patient cohort, based on the current recommendations.
