The objective of the study was to evaluate the level of knowledge of first aid of academics of the Physical Education Course of UFRN. This is a quantitative research, descriptive and exploratory type. For tabular the data It was used an Excel spreadsheet of the Office 2013® program, the responses were presented in the form of percentages. The sample was composed of 57 academics of baccalaureate of the Physical Education Course of UFRN. The data was collected using a questionnaire adapted from the instrument created per Sell (2010). The results showed that the academics of the Physical Education Course of UFRN feature a level of theoretical knowledge satisfactorily in most of the issues on the emergency procedures during physical exercise, however, 54% revealed that do not feel prepared to provide care during emergency cases in physical exercise.openAccessEmergências, Primeiros socorros, Conhecimento, EstudantesEmergencies, first aid, knowledge, studentsbachelorThesis
