In these FTTH To The HomeFiber networks, as a solution for high telecommunications companies that sought to offer higher transmission rates with lower maintenance costs, providing an increase in download and upload rates rates, with low transmission rates, essential technological factors for survival in a competitive market. The work described in this article was deployed an FTTH network for a residential area, based on a passive optical network with Gigabit capability (GPON).
