The Court of Auditors of the State of Rio Grande do Norte (TCE/RN) is responsible for analyzing the legality of the acts arising from its jurisdictions, and the SIAI AP Concessões is a system developed for this purpose. During the registration of an act, the application must calculate the financial benefits to which the server is entitled. The calculation has its rules defined in legislations that are changing. For this reason, having these rules inserted in the source code can cause the constant need to update the system. In view of this problem, the Benefit Calculation Association (MAC) Engine was developed, a tool that, through configurable parameters, offers the system administrator the conversion of a legal basis into a calculation rule that will be understood by the system.
