At the manufacture of the cement are emitted a substantial amounts of greenhouse gases, however, the global tendency is to reduce emissions and encourage decarbonization in industrial production. Besides, it is known that productions in industrial scale generate substantial amounts of waste and these wastes can be used on another segment of interest. Therefore, in a searching for an impact at these two roles, this study aims the partial replace of the cement by industrial wastes who have appropriated characteristics to be applied in oil wells. The wastes analyzed at this paper were the wastes from construction (RCC) and red ceramics (RCV) in different concentrations (20% bwoc and 35% bwoc to both wastes) with low-temperatures and low-pressure conditions (38 ºC and 1 atm) and they were compared with formulations normally used at industry such as the standard containing water and cement (PP) and a reference formula containing silica flour (SF35). All slurries were mechanically tested in a compressive strength test to evaluate the substitution of cement for mineral additives and its influence and posteriorly the slurries were characterized by the XRD test to identify the phases that were produced after the hydration period. The results were showing promising, particularly the formulations containing red ceramic waste, with emphasis on RCV35 formulation, which has a mechanical resistance only 12% lower in relation to the resistance presented by the standard slurry, and your products identified not far from the products generally found in cement formulations for oil wells.
