Monografia (Graduação) - Curso de Pedagogia, Centro de Educação, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2020.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/42585This paper aims to discuss and relate the National Policy of Literacy (2019) with other three literacy policies established in Brazil between 2000 and 2018, them being the Literacy Teacher Training Program - Profa (2001), the Pro-Literacying: Mobilization for the Quality of Education (2005) and the National Agreement for the Literacy in the Correct Age - Pnaic (2012). The methodology of this research was based on a quantitative approach and a document analysis was the technique of data analysis.
