The aim of this study is to report the experience of residents in maternal and child health, regarding health education practices about breastfeeding in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, in a public maternity hospital in Seridó of RN/Brazil and it is a descriptive study, an experience report type. The performance of the residency team has contributed to health promotion and disease prevention, based on recommendations on issues that envolve the universe of breastfeeding, based on a biopsychosocial and interprofessional approach.
