In this sense, the present experience report aims to demonstrate educational practices involving PANC and agroecology through Food and Nutrition Education (FNE) actions with a group of elderly people in a community garden at Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN). Vegetable gardens play a fundamental role in society, promoting socialization, adopting healthy eating habits, sharing knowledge and cooking recipes, thus promoting sustainability. Thus, it can be inferred that the FNE actions on PANC developed with the elderly group are extremely important for the dissemination of knowledge of agroecology, sustainability, sovereignty and food autonomy, being responsible for health promotion and disease preventionpt-BRAgroecologiaNutriçãoPANCSaúdeHortas.AgroecologyNutritionEdible PlantsHealthGarden.Ensino-aprendizagem de plantas alimentícias não convencionais em educação alimentar e nutricional com idosos em Natal/RNTeaching-learning of non-conventional edible plants in food and nutrition education with the elderly at Natal/RNarticle
