Dissertação (Mestrado Profissional em Educação Especial) - Centro de Educação, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2024.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/58460The general objective of this study is to develop basic guidelines for the development of accessible audiovisual products for people with visual and hearing impairments and deaf people in the context of University Television at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (TVU/UFRN), based on recommendations compiled and the collaboration of the subjects involved in the research. As specific objectives, it is proposed to identify guidelines on the use of resources for accessible audiovisual translation used in public television stations; raise awareness through workshops among agents directly involved in the operational routine of TVU/UFRN audiovisual productions regarding communication accessibility and the rights of people with disabilities; and, collectively produce a guiding guide, in digital document format, for audiovisual production accessible at TVU/UFRN. The qualitative research of an exploratory nature of a case study is based on a survey of existing references on parameters of the use of Assistive Technology for television. References include NBR 15290/2005, from the Brazilian Association of Technical Standards (ABNT), on accessibility on television; the Guide for Accessible Audiovisual Productions (2016), from the National Cinema Agency (Ancine); and the models used in the Accessibility sectors of public broadcasters: TV Cultura and TV Aparecida. To achieve the objectives, awareness workshops were held in an Extension Course called “Thinking Communication Accessibility at TVU/UFRN” for 15 employees and scholarship holders of the public broadcaster, with professionals with and without disabilities who have experience in Translation resources as lecturers. Accessible Audiovisual. Based on the experiences and suggestions collected, we proposed the collective construction of a guide that could be a tool to guide the implementation of a reference model of production flow and enable the creation of an Accessibility sector at TVU/UFRN. It is expected to contribute to the establishment of a culture of accessibility by observing the rights of people with visual impairments and deaf and deaf people and being guided by the possibility of an accessible and transversal practice in the context of this public university broadcaster.Acesso AbertoAcessibilidade comunicacionalTelevisão universitáriaDeficiência visualDeficiência auditivaTradução audiovisual acessívelGuia orientador para acessibilidade comunicacional na televisão universitária da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do NortemasterThesisCNPQ::CIENCIAS HUMANAS::EDUCACAO
