As well as to analyze the unfoldings arising from the relationship between “drugs”, religion and citizenship. Associated to the theoretical reflection, the empirical data were collected by the application of interviews with 11 religious leaders, representing the traditional Protestant, Pentecostal, Roman Apostolic Catholic Church and the Saint Daime segments. It was intended to comprehend the position that certain religions assume in the treatment of this actual problematic of great repercussion in the public sphere, since there is a strong tendency to associate “drugs” with valuation conceptions such as vice and sin, in which are intrinsic civilizational formulations coherent with the current prohibitionist policy.openAccessDrogasReligiãoCidadaniaProibicionismoDrogas e o exercício da religiosidade e da cidadania: o entendimento dos grupos religiosos sobre o "Problema das Drogas"bachelorThesis
