Violência interpessoal/autoprovocada: um estudo acerca das notificações na atenção primária à saúde no município de Caicó/RN. Orientadora: Priscilla Brandão de Medeiros. 2023. 47 f. Monografia (Especialização) - Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Escola Multicampi de Ciências Médicas, Residência Multiprofissional em Atenção Básica, Caicó, RN, 2023.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/57620The present residency completion work aimed to analyze the challenges in the application of the interpersonal/self-inflicted violence notification form in Primary Health Care in the municipality of Caicó/RN. The justification for this research stemmed from the data obtained from the DATASUS platform, which indicates low compliance of Primary Health Care in reporting cases. In addition to the evident fragility of the notifications carried out in the spaces where the researcher, acting as a resident, conducted activities. For this purpose, two Basic Health Units were filtered, representing the highest and lowest notification percentages, considering the years from 2016 to 2022. As for the methodological approach, the study was of a qualitative quantitative, field, exploratory nature, departing from historical and dialectical materialism as a methodological base. The theoretical framework of the discussion began with an overview of the expanded concept of health, delving into its historical development and socio-historical analysis, underpinning current care proposals in contemporary settings. This led to reflections on notifications of violence in the city of Caicó/RN, emphasizing their implications in healthcare systems. Subsequently, the discussion of results highlighted the types of violence that Primary Health Care professionals face when reporting, such as unfamiliarity with the interpersonal/selfinflicted violence notification form and, lastly, the existing flow in sending these forms in Caicó, involving the role of Social Services and intersectoral work. In conclusion, the study emphasizes the significance of reporting cases of interpersonal/self-inflicted violence, revealing recurring patterns, especially in psychological and sexual violence. The fear of reporting is associated with the complexity of completing the form, posing a significant barrier. The disjointedness in networked efforts contributes to underreporting, emphasizing the need for dialogue among the city's healthcare devices. The research reveals challenges, such as unfamiliarity with the form and its bureaucratic nature. In summary, reporting is an essential step in promoting health and combating violence, demanding awareness, training, and effective policy implementation.
