O não dito: uma série de reportagens sobre o estigma das pessoas vivendo com HIV/AIDS. 2024. 65 f. Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação em Jornalismo) - Departamento de Comunicação Social, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2024.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/59584This course completion work aimed to create a series of reports, O Não Dito, about the stigma of people living with HIV/Aids. According to the 2019 Stigma Index Survey, carried out in Brazil, more than fifty percent of people interviewed have already suffered some type of discrimination because of their HIV/AIDS health condition. The scientific field has advanced in relation to forms of prevention and treatment for the virus and the disease. However, the social field is moving towards the recognition of these people as human subjects worthy of respect and guaranteed rights. The three reports in this series showed this double reality: the still presence of stigma and the advancement of science. This was possible by noting the importance of Journalism for actively listening to these people and other professionals who study the topic. In addition to the exercise of communication in making this reality visible and influencing a change in society's behavior in relation to HIV/AIDS and social stigma. This work was constructed with interviews and bibliographical research based on Goffman's stigma theory (1891). In the series of reports, O Não Dito, about the stigma of people living with HIV/Aids, people living with HIV/AIDS, a Non-Governmental Organization, a specialist in anti-discrimination law, researchers in the field of social anthropology and psychology and health professionals were interviewed.Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/br/EstigmaSérieHIVAidsJornalismoReportagemO não dito: uma série de reportagens sobre o estigma das pessoas vivendo com HIV/AIDSThe unsaid: a series of reports on the stigma of people living with HIV/AIDSbachelorThesis
