Uso da Vortioxetina em pacientes com transtorno depressivo maior: uma revisão de literatura. 2022. 27f. Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação em Farmácia), Departamento de Farmácia, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2022.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/52240Major depressive disorder (MDD) has long been proving to be a complex pathology worthy of attention in its treatment, requiring the periodic development of its therapy in order to obtain good responses, aiming at the patient's quality of life in relation to health. In this context, drug therapy is an important ally and the development of studies with new drugs and pharmacological classes is essential for future interventions. The objective of this literature review was to analyze the behavioral profile of vortioxetine in patients with MDD. For this, 406 articles were analyzed in the following databases: Science direct (Elsevier), National Library of Medicine (PubMed), Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO) and Periodicals CAPES, using the following descriptors: “major depressive disorder ” + “vortioxetine”, “vortioxetine” + “mdd” + “patient”, “treatment” +/AND “mdd”, “antidepressant” + “vortioxetine” + “treatment”. In the end, after analyzing the titles, abstracts, and the full text of the articles, 10 articles were included where good results were observed with vortioxetine, both in depressive symptoms, as well as cognitive and general status of some patients, in addition to good tolerability. Thus, the study of the behavior of this drug can direct the development of future therapeutic interventions.Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/br/vortioxetinaantidepressivotranstorno depressivo maiorvortioxetineantidepressantmajor depressive disorderUso da Vortioxetina em pacientes com transtorno depressivo maior: uma revisão de literaturaUse of Vortioxetine in patients with major depressive disorder: a literature reviewbachelorThesisCNPQ::CIENCIAS DA SAUDE::FARMACIA
