It will be presented, initially, a historical context of the music in its roots, beginning in the synagogues with the Gregorian chant, happening through the great composers and culminating in the current form that we have of music, which is used mainly through the internet and through means of applications. The main applications are using a very current practice in the market called streaming, as is the case with Spotify and Deezer. We can note the importance of understanding the customer profile of digital music through the tools offered by marketing so that one can understand the customer's profile and thus know where to invest his product, in this case the music in its digital format.
